End of Watch: January 7, 2006
It is with great sadness the East Palo Alto Police Department announces the tragic death of Officer Richard May,
who lost his life in the line of duty on Saturday January 7, 2006. Officer May had been with the East Palo Alto Police Department for 18 months and a veteran of law enforcement for 15 years, previously with the Lompoc Police Department. Officer May was also a veteran of the armed services serving in the Marine Corp in Operation Desert Storm.
Officer May leaves behind a wife and 3 daughters.
